Why use differential air shaft for high-speed slitting machine

The greatest advantage for using slip air shafts is when you rewind or unwind some small rolls by it,the slip rings on it can adjust the slip torque to realize good rewind and unwinding effect for each roll .The slip function is to wind up multiple rolls of material on one shaft at the same time, because the thickness of the material is uneven. Some of the coils are loose, some of the coils are tight, and the tight ones will slip and eliminate the tension to achieve the desired winding effect. The Differential air shaft adjusts the tension by adjusting the air pressure so that the entire shaft is at a stable value. When the material we are winding is too tight, the slip ring will slip with the shaft to achieve an ideal elastic state, and this loose tension is related to the magnitude of the air pressure, and finally to the magnitude of the tension.

The Differential air shaft can be described by a very visual example: the normal air shaft is multi-roll material on one service shaft, and the differential air shaft is multi-roll on multiple service shafts.Normal air shaft(one person) can't make the multi-roll material reach the ideal state at the same time, but the differential air shaft (multiple people) can work hard for an ideal standard at the same time, achieving the ideal winding effect.
